About these terms
Recall Rex is operated by Alex Ventura Ruiz-Hernandez. These terms describe the Recall Rex service and website. Contact us at support@recallrex.app.
For the app downloaded through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app license unless a different license is explicitly provided in the App Store. These terms do not replace that license or remove rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Recall information & limitations
Recall Rex organizes supported FDA and USDA FSIS notices to make them easier to browse. Available features include recall lists, source-based details, saved notices, and local personalization. Coverage, history, images, codes, and reported areas vary by source and notice. Products coverage is limited to supported cosmetics and personal-care notices; it is not a general consumer-product recall service.
Information can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or affected by processing errors. Cached results may be out of date. A missing recall, product code, or location does not establish that a product is safe or unaffected. We do not guarantee complete or real-time recall coverage.
Always check the original notice, verify your product against its identifiers, and follow the manufacturer’s or agency’s instructions. Recall Rex does not provide medical, veterinary, legal, or individualized product-safety advice and is not an emergency service. This release does not send recall notifications or automatically monitor products in your household.
Recall Rex is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FDA, USDA, or Apple.
Subscriptions & payments
A subscription is required to browse recalls in the app. Weekly and yearly plans provide the same supported app features. The full price and renewal period appear in the app before purchase. Prices, currency, availability, and applicable taxes can vary by storefront; the app and Apple purchase sheet show the terms that apply before confirmation. No free trial is currently planned.
Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the applicable renewal price.
You can manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Recall Rex, or use the in-app Manage subscription link. Deleting the app or requesting deletion of data does not cancel a subscription. Canceling generally preserves access through the end of the paid period. Apple controls the handling and timing of plan changes.
Use Restore purchases in the app to check access for an existing subscription associated with your Apple Account. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple’s policies and applicable law. Your statutory rights remain unaffected. This website does not process purchases.
Using the service
Use Recall Rex lawfully and do not attempt to compromise its security, interfere with its operation, or misrepresent its information as an official government determination. You are responsible for checking official information before making product-related decisions.
You do not need a Recall Rex account. Optional personalization and saved recalls are stored locally. Device loss, deletion, or backup changes may affect that local information. Subscription restoration is separate from restoring saved recalls or profile details.
Content & external services
The Recall Rex brand, original Rex artwork, and original interface content belong to the operator or their licensors. Official notices, product names, images, and third-party marks remain subject to their respective ownership and usage terms. Their appearance does not imply endorsement.
Links may open agency, manufacturer, Apple, or other third-party services. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. Recall Rex does not control their content, availability, or decisions.
Availability & responsibility
We aim to keep Recall Rex useful and reliable, but availability can depend on your connection, official sources, Apple, RevenueCat, and other service providers. Features and supported sources may change. Material subscription changes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and Apple’s requirements.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that every notice will be complete, current, or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer guarantees or remedies.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains local app information, subscription and paywall processing, website requests, and support communications, including your choices and how to request deletion.
Updates & support
We may update these terms to reflect service changes or applicable requirements. The date above identifies the latest version, and we will provide any additional notice required by law.
